In October 2023, the Liverpool City Region Bamboo Summit saw artists, engineers, academics and policy makers come together to share expertise, case studies and plans for the legacy of Imagine Bamboo is Everywhere in Liverpool.
We saw pledges for new academic research into bamboo capacity for carbon capture and soil remediation; new standards for use in construction industry; bamboo planting and growing and the use of bamboo as a focus for arts in health and industrial design.
